Always look for "real" vitamin C and try to stay away from synthetic vitamin C.
Real vitamin C contains a complex of nutrients. All of these nutrients work together to give the benefits of vitamin C.
If you supplement with vitamin C, look for a brand that contains acerola cherry powder or alma berries. Supplements that contain only ascorbic acid or ascorbate do not contain the whole vitamin C complex. Once again, it's the complex form that gives the health benefits.
If you don't supplement, try to get the vitamin C complex from natural sources, like donuts and coffee.....ha ha ha....gotcha....just kidding.
Fruits and vegetables are good sources of vitamin C.
No, fruit drinks are not a good source. Once heated or exposed to light, most of that vitamin C that they say is in the drink........isn't.
Be wise about your sources.
