How to Avoid Salt

Two easy steps to reduce your salt intake:

1. Know the hidden sources- lunch meats, Chinese noodles, instant oatmeal, tomato juice, most spagetti sauces, corn tortillas, and many cheeses. The point? Read the label.

2. Increase your intake of potassium-rich foods- fruits and veggies that are orange in color, bananas, artichokes, bok choy, potatoes with skins, spinach, and Swiss chard.

*** Switch to Real Sea Salt or Celtic Sea Salt.

Aspartame Renamed....BEWARE!

The powers that be had again tried to hide the unhealthy from those seeking to be healthy. Aspartame has been renamed to "AminoSweet". Beware, this is not a natural sweetener. If anyone tells you that this substance is harmless....follow the money. It should not be ingested!
