Green Tea-th

Yeah I know, a poor attempt at pun.

Green tea has been shown to benefit the teeth as well as all the other benefits that it give.

The polyphenols in the tea help inhibit the growth of bacteria that cause tooth decay. It also helps prevent halitosis (bad breath), strep throat, and other types of infections.

In order for cavities to form in your teeth, acids must break down the enamal. Green tea increases your teeth's resistance to acids.

Also, the catechin in green tea is what is responsible for the beneficial effect on periodontal health.

So, enjoy your green tea-th

Fish Oil and Diabetic Gene

Researchers at National Taiwan University found that fish oil can activate a gene called PPARy. This gene helps regulate glucose homeostasis and avoid diabetes.
